Photography has introduced me to some incredible people. A shared love for the art as well as a mutual understanding of what this job actually entails on a day to day basis has fostered some of my closest friendships. Ingrid from Molliner Photography is one of those people and I’m so incredibly thankful to have her in my life!! She was in San Francisco for a wedding and she was kind enough to let me tag along to some of her other shoots the week she was visiting (Thomas and I recently moved to SF from Tampa, so creating content in our new market is especially helpful right now!). For Katherine and Nick’s San Francisco engagement session we started at Legion of Honor and then explored Sutro Baths.
For our first stop, we visited the Legion of Honor, a fine art Museum in SF. It houses a collection that covers more than 6,000 years of ancient and European art. Katherine had impeccable style for her engagement photos! For her outfit at Legion of Honor she wore a black jumpsuit with a light brown leather jacket. Let me tell you, it was frigid – by far the coldest day I’ve experienced in the city – and Katherine champed up! Nick cuddled her close for some really sweet photos!
Next, we visited Land’s End and Sutro Baths. Ingrid had some pretty ambitious shots in mind – but Nick and Katherine were up to the challenge! Katherine peeled her white espadrilles off and the two of them trekked down a steep ledge to get to the bottom of a cliff. It was definitely my favorite photo of the day! Katherine wore a white shift dress. Her simple, modern style was perfect for the epic backdrop of Sutro Baths. I love how Nick’s bomber jacket complimented the look!
Shooting with Ingrid during this session was such a fun experience. I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to tag along for this Legion of Honor and Sutro Baths engagement session!
