One thing that I wasn’t expecting with this photography business, was becoming a secret keeper. It is so special to be clued in on the fun tidbits of people’s lives – whether it be a fun choreographed dance or a surprise gift at a wedding or the amazing news that a couple is expecting! I love being included on the little (and big!) secrets and it is especially fun when our photos get to be part of the announcement, as was the case with Kristin and Ryan!

Kristin and I met through  instagram (duh, who doesn’t meet through instagram these days?). She does amazing calligraphy and we used her for some details at our wedding! We’ve kept in touch, cheering each other on through this little icon square world. Then, one day she reached out and shared the exciting news that she and Ryan were expecting!

We met up on a perfect evening to capture this exciting stage in their lives! Plus, they brought their sweet pup, Indy along, who was just the sweetest!

Congratulations Kristin and Ryan! You two are going to be such great parents! I can’t thank you enough for including me in a little piece of this adventure! Hugs!
