Jenny and Colin have one of the cutest stories we’ve heard. So many big, and little, decisions ultimately brought them together – an intricate tale indeed.
Colin grew up in Indianapolis, but moved to Nashville and spent most of his life there. Like many, Colin was drawn to the music industry. He found his niche in the recording area as an audio engineer – talk about an amazing talent and art!
Jenny grew up in Florida. After her college graduation, she decided to pack her bags and move to Nashville. She didn’t have much planned, but sometimes you’ve just got to take a leap of faith. She got a job working for Warby Parker – I’m sure many of you have heard about it – it is a great company that donates a pair of glasses to someone in need for every pair that is purchased. Jenny got plugged in right away, but needed something more.
Her mom told her about a class she could take in her new city. The class happened to be about music – specifically – audio engineering. You may be able to make a few assumptions from here, but I’ll continue the story in case you can’t see what is about to happen. 😉
Colin was the head engineer at the school and Jenny interviewed with him before joining the class. As soon as Colin left the room after the interview, the principal of the group said, “By the way, he’s single.”
Needless to say, a few months later, these two started dating, and the rest is history.
They are planning their October wedding and it will be in the city where they met and fell in love – Nashville. I am ridiculously excited because these two were an absolute blast to photograph! I mean, can we talk about how adorable they are and how perfect Jenny’s dress is? We made loops around the Bay Hill neighborhood, and the light was good to us! So very thankful!
Jenny and Colin – you two are amazing! Thomas and I are so excited to be a part of your wedding day and document your beautiful story! I adore you two! Annnnd thanks for putting up with Thomas and his love for the magnolia tree. 😉
