I think all of you know I don’t usually shoot boudoir – and by that, I mean I’ve never shot boudoir before. At the Kayla Barker Workshop, I had the chance to explore this type of photography. It was such a peaceful experience. I had always been terrified that it would be so awkward, but it wasn’t. Brytny did a fantastic modeling, and I love that she wore the the bridal veil and robe from Girl with a Serious Dream to give it an early wedding morning look.
This was also my first time shooting 400 speed black and white film and I’m in love! Such a timeless film stock!
Finally, after Brytny spent the morning meditating about the wedding day, she slipped into a Claire Pettibone gown (those back details…) and we tried to capture movement on the grand staircase in the entrance. It was a day filled with first – but I was pleased with how they all turned out! 🙂
