When I first received Danielle’s email I knew she was my kind of bride. She filled me in on all of the details, which I love! The excitement that she expressed was contagious. I knew she had found the right person to marry just by the way she described Brian. When I met her in person, I was filled with the same sentiment! Our first hug was so…. real. She came over in the afternoon and asked me questions about my job that no one had ever asked me before (really thought provoking questions – ones that I still consider to this day). It feels so good to meet people that you instantly connect with, and I feel so fortunate that Danielle was one of those people (side note – not hating on Brian, I just didn’t meet him until a few months later) 😉 .

Brian and Danielle met on Christian Mingle and when Brian initiated a conversation with Danielle in German, she just had to write back. They communicated for a week met up for dinner and a drink. After that dinner, Brian asked Danielle if she would consider going on a date with him. She smiled and said, “What would you call this?” and he explained that he wanted to be respectful and express his continued interest. Needless to say, that communication and honesty has been a keystone of their relationship.

More than a year later, Danielle and Brian spent a few weeks traveling through Europe (le sigh). Brian proposed on a quiet sunny morning at Versailles, and totally took Danielle by surprise!

These two are jack(s)-of-all-trades! On any given weekend you can find them indoors exploring a museum or outside biking, hiking, or hammocking (not a word, but now it is). They love exploring new cities, enjoying warm coffee, trying new brunch spots and cooking. On top of all of that, they paint, stargaze and enjoy the symphony. I mean, how can you not love these two?!

I met up with Brian and Danielle the day after Christmas for their St. Pete engagement session, as they were in town celebrating with Danielle’s family. The day was quite cloudy, by shortly after our session started, the sun came out for us! We explored all of the spots in downtown St. Pete for their engagement session – Vinoy park, the Museum of Fine Arts (where they’ll be getting married in a few months), the Snell Island bridge, the Gizelle Kopsick Palm Arboretum, the Dali Museum and the murals on Central! Seriously, it was jam packed and so much fun! They were so natural in front of the camera – I have a smile on my face just thinking of these two and how perfectly they snuggled!

Brian and Danielle, I’m so, so excited to be working with you both! Your adoration for each other is so sweet and inspiring! Brian, I loved meeting you after hearing so many good things and I can see how happy you make Danielle. Needless to say, I’m very excited to see you two again in just a few short months! Hugs!
