I have to start this post by thanking all of the people that helped accomplish this session! There were so many pieces that came together for The Acre Orlando wedding inspiration. I’m so grateful for all of the talented “friendors” that made this happen! A huge thank you to Thomas as well – he put down the camera and stepped in and modeled for this one. Our original models backed out less than 24 hours before the shoot and he and Aubrie (thank you too!!) stepped up to the plate to fill in the role – thank you!
Many people often overlook the importance of the invitation suite. However, I think it is one of the most important parts of your wedding design. It sets the tone for your day. Not only does it provides your guests with useful information, it gives them direction about the vibe and feel of your wedding. For this session, the inspiration sprouted from a modern invitation suite from Wedding Paper Divas, and Kristi from Tickled Pink Brides made this vision come to life. The lavender invitation suite had copper foil geometric patterns that found their way into many details throughout the day. The pearlescent envelopes shone even more with Emily Grace Design’s calligraphy and vintage stamps from Treasure Fox.
Our bride, Aubree wore a stunning Hayley Paige gown from Calvet Couture. Complete with a tulle skirt and ornate beaded lace, it was truly remarkable. Her look was complete with soft, elegant makeup and a fabulous textured fishtail braid done by Brie & Brie.
Her groom, Thomas (who also doubles as my fiance and second shooter – a jack of all trades!) wore a navy suit and a bowtie with some fun purple accents.
The ceremony took place inside the old school house on The Acre’s property. Complete with mismatched chairs – some of them being copper – and some gorgeous lilac florals – it was a beautiful event. The candlelight provided a warm glow to the room as the couple exchanged their vows.
Guests found their seat with the help of dream-catcher place markers, created by the brain behind this operation herself – Kristi from Tickled Pink Brides.
Dinner was enjoyed in the modern, open-air, vine clad, white walled structure. The farm table was adorned with table top accessories from Emily Grace Design and Wish Vintage Rentals. The chargers, Moscow mule mugs, and napkin rings tied in the copper vibe. Add in a few votives and vintage amethyst goblets and the mood was set. A stunning centerpiece, half of which was floating above the table, was created by Arrangements Floral Design. Her talents blew me away!
Not only did Shauna from Arrangements she create a stunning centerpiece, can we talk about that bird cage that she dolled up from Wish Vintage Rentals? This vintage birdcage was overflowing with lush blooms that were flown straight from Holland.
The geometric patterns from the invitation inspired the four tiered cake from The Sugar Suite. Beautiful petals made from sugar incorporated the florals and lavender from the wedding. And it smelled delicious!
The lounge area was created to allow guests to relax and mingle in a comfortable area. Complete with The Acre’s vintage bus (check out that macrame curtain), it provided just that. Wish Vintage Rental’s fun green couch was covered in eclectic pillows. A rug strewn across the coffee table held an assortment of other goodies – including a copper orb.
This was such a fun session to be a part of and I’m so grateful for all of the vendors that were involved. I love having the ability to connect with creatives all over the state and to be inspired by all of their creations. Working with this team was a dream. Be sure to check out the trailer created by Love and Lustre which adds a super fun element to all of it!
So thankful to see this inspiration featured over on one of my favorite blogs – Ruffled!
