I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to attend The Film Gathering in Virginia this past May. I loved meeting other creatives and photographers in a low-key environment. And of course I loved shooting alongside them during this colorful spring wedding inspiration shot! It is always fun to see everyone’s different perspectives of the day!
What was really unique about this shoot is that we got to capture this wedding from the very beginning of the day.
As the sun streamed through the bedroom windows, the couple enjoyed their coffee in bed. Relaxing and soaking up these calm moments before the hustle of the wedding day begins.
For their wedding, the bride wore a delicate, lace Claire Pettibone gown and heels with tiny flowers attached. Her curly hair was pulled back in a low bun to show off her gorgeous facial features.
In her hands, she carried the prettiest, colorful, spring-inspired bouquet created by Cotton Social. Talk about incredible! I’m such a fan of those lush, large, layered blooms!
The reception table was made for a spring-time wedding. Set just outside the bed and breakfast, under a large set of trees, the color plates and monogramed napkins were the perfect touch! I love the coral tapered candles and the textured linen alongside the vintage glassware.
To conclude the evening, the couple enjoyed a simple two-tiered cake decorated with kumquats.
This whole colorful spring wedding inspiration was breathtaking, and I’m so glad I got to photograph this inspiration created by a dream-team of vendors!
