When I received an email from Callista and Co. inviting me to join her team for a bridal show outside of Seattle I couldn’t believe it. Callista is incredibly talented, humble, and kind – and she was recently named a top wedding planner by Brides! Of course, working with her again instantly became something I was looking forward to for weeks on end. To top it off, she had also reached out to my favorite florist, Amy from Gather Design Company. Together, these ladies can do no wrong! Every time they work together, they design timeless, elegant, romantic weddings. I knew that their Chateau Lill wedding inspiration would be no different.
When Callista was designing the contemporary chateau inspiration she wanted to draw on the old-world charm of Chateau Lill, a wedding venue outside of Seattle, in Woodinville. She used a clean palette of champagne, ivory, taupe, and umber accented by the natural greenery surrounding the venue.
Ever design element was selected intentionally. Callista ensured that the design was timeless and elegant, but fresh. With this in mind, Libby Tipton created the invitation suite with handmade paper and embossing, but paired it with modern fonts.
The ceremony space was set up among the vineyards on Chateau Lill’s property. The aisle was bookended by two, lush arches. Along the aisle, flowers overflowed as if they were growing alongside the guests’s chairs.
For this Chateau Lill wedding inspiration, the bride had three different dresses. My favorite was the Reem Arca gown with the illusion bodice with a modern twist on a classic bow on the back of the gown. Yessie Libby Makeup Artistry created an elegant look with soft waves accented by a floral crystal comb and natural makeup.
Guests entered the reception through a candlelit staircase. With the help of the champagne tower seating chart, friends and family found their places at the reception under Chateau Lill’s white tent. Amy arranged ranunculus, sweet peas, lilac and roses in architectural yet organic shapes with natural movement and neutral tones. The refined tablescape of immaculately placed glassware, chargers, and flatware set for the most special of occasions. The monogramed napkins can’t go mentioned – handstitched to perfection – the perfect way to personalize a wedding reception. The four tiered cake, by Honey Crumb Studio, was elegant with a sense of whimsy.
The couple departed Chateau Lill at the end of the evening in a vintage Rolls Royce.
We are thrilled to see this Chateau Lill wedding inspiration featured on our favorite wedding blog, Style Me Pretty!
