An Early Morning Lifestyle Engagement Session from the Amanda Watson Reunion

May 9, 2017

I had a pretty incredible time back in August at the Amanda Watson Workshops. I probably gushed about Amanda a ton in my previous blog posts, but I’m going to do it again. Amanda has such a good heart and she pours herself into these workshops. She is so “attendee-focused” and wants to make sure that everyone gets as much as they can out of these experiences. On top of that, she attracts good people. I was blown away by how many of the attendees I wanted to pack up and take home with me from the workshop in Dallas. Needless to say, when she mentioned a reunion for her previous attendees in Georgia, I was itching to sign up! I snagged the last seat and I’m so glad I did!

For our first shoot, Amanda envisioned a couple that had enjoyed a dinner date on a Friday night. Early Saturday morning they woke with the sun and wrangled themselves out of bed to prepare breakfast. But not any breakfast, these two were making bread by hand. They kneaded the dough together in the kitchen and enjoyed the process of working together to create something as much as they enjoyed the final outcome.

As the bread baked, they lounged on their porch, enjoying their morning coffee.

I loved the messy hair and easy-going simplicity of these two. They fit together perfectly.
