Alana and Justin are two of the most genuine people I’ve met. They are so sweet, so happy, and so in love. These two have beautiful souls. And, despite my slight anxiety leading up to their engagement session, they are so laid back that they picked their location just hours before we started shooting…but hey, I’d say that worked out pretty well. I’m so excited to share this Gainesville engagement session with you today!
Like numerous couples, Alana and Justin connected over the internet. Their first date was at Civilization, an awesome restaurant in Gainesville that serves food inspired by exotic parts of the globe. They sat in a booth in the corner and closed the place down. Needless to say, they got along quite well. Their next date involved a relaxing day tubing in the springs. They began dating shortly after and since then have enjoyed numerous picnics, explorations, and vacations.
This past March, Justin and Alana were visiting Justin’s family in South Africa. They spent time on a game reserve and explored a nearby waterfall (with the help of a ranger to scope out the hippo situation). Under the waterfall, Jason proposed to Alana. They will be tying the knot next month in Gainesville, where they are both living and working. In February, they will be making the trip to South Africa to celebrate with Justin’s side of the family.
Justin and Alana, we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate with you both! We absolutely loved taking your photos – thank you for putting up with us and letting your “short, mini, 30 minute session,” turn into a full adventure. 🙂 You two are the best!
So thrilled to see this session featured on Trendy Bride!
