I had been dying to attend The Film Gathering for over a year, but the dates never lined up with my schedule. Well, this time I was adamant about attending, and when they announced that it would be taking place in the beautiful mountains of Amherst Virginia that was all I needed to say “take my money!!!”

It was a restful few days, filled with great conversation, good food, and amazing people. I left feeling inspired and like I was part of an incredible community of photographers.

The first shoot that I’m sharing was the styled maternity session – I know, I know, I don’t really do maternity sessions, but this shoot just may make me change my mind. Motherhood just looked too beautiful on Lexi!
