Natalie and Chad just fit together. They are that comfortable pair that you know is reliable and will always be there for you. They’re timeless and dependable. They’re meant to be. Their wedding day wasn’t filled with anxious emotions. It was filled with intention and purpose. This was just the next step in their relationship. And after waiting for close to a decade, they were both SO ready for it! Thomas and I were so honored to photograph their Museum of Fine Arts St Pete wedding!
Natalie got ready at a condo across the street from the museum. From the living room and balcony we could look over the venue. Natalie wore the most stunning Paloma Blanca gown. It fit her perfectly and showed off her figure. The back detailing added just a hint of glam. Around her neck, she wore a custom necklace with two diamonds – the two diamonds that used to be in both of her grandmother’s engagement rings.
Chad got ready at his home. He looked sharp in his black tux! I loved his monogrammed cufflinks – such a fun touch!
Natalie and Chad were initially not going to do a first look – but they changed their mind just a few weeks before their wedding day. They saw each other for the first time under the columns at the Museum of Fine Arts. After giving each other the biggest hug, they exchanged cards, which acted as personal vows. Moments like that are always my favorite!
Chad and Natalie got married in the membership garden at the Museum of Fine Arts. Chad’s grandfather officiated the ceremony. The bridesmaids, in blush gowns, stood by Natalie’s side. The groomsmen managed to pull off a minor prank during the ceremony when they pretended the ring was missing. Don’t worry – it was delivered safely – along with a carrot. 😉 Everyone was so thrilled to finally witness these two become husband and wife!
Their wedding reception was held in the Marly room at the MFA. The head table sat directly in the center of the room – hosting the wedding party. Other circular tables surrounded the head table and had a variety of centerpieces – some tall, some staggered. It was a stunning reception space! Natalie and Chad were introduced for the first time and went right into their first dance.
The evening rolled on with classic rock hits, hilarious toasts, delicious cake, and lots of dancing! The couple excited through a tunnel of glow sticks at the end of the evening!
Natalie and Chad – you know we adore you! We are so happy for you both and we feel so thankful that you came into our lives. We wish you both the best on this next chapter of your lives. We hope to see you again soon! Congratulations!
